THE PATTERNS OF THE VERB TENSES
Based on the patterns of sentences in English class, the forms of the sentence can be divided into eight, namely:
a. positive statement
b. negative statements
c. Positive-Interrogative-Yes/No-Question
d. Negative-Interrogative-Yes/No-Question
e. Asking Subject-Positive-Information-Question
f. Asking Subject-Negative-Information-Question
g. Asking Object / Predicate / Complement-Positive-Information Question
h. Asking Object / Predicate / Complement-Negative-Information Question
 
Forms of verbs in the tenses in the active voice, there are five forms, namely:
a. V-1 = simple form of a verb
For example: they go to school
b. V-1 + s / es / ies
For example: he goes to school
c. V-2 = Past
For example: he went to school
d. V-3 = Past participle
For example: they have gone to school
e. V-ing = The-ing form of a verb
For example: they are going to school

We already know about the sentence patterns used in English, now we will discuss about the verb. Lots of verbs used in the English sentence patterns, as follows:

1. Use to be:
            I was
            He was; She was; It was; Sprott was; The dog was, and all subjects of the third person
            singular
that use to be ‘was’
            We were; You were; They were, and all subjects implies plural / more from one using ‘were’

2. V-2 = Simple Past = verb second form.

3. Judging from the second and third forms, verbs can be divided into two types: Regular  Verb/irregular verbs and Irregular Verb / irregular verbs. The meaning of these two forms of the verb is a form of PAST, and is the third form of the verb is the past participle form.

4. Regular Verb           : is the verb form of the second and third forms follow rules.
    Irregular Verb:is the verb form of the second and third did not follow the rules. Because it does not follow the rules, to study the shape and form of the second  all three of Irregular verbs there is no other way than to memorize.

5. how to make a verb form of the second and third of the regular verb is to add 'd ​​/ ed' ied 'in V-1 / verb first form that has not got anything additional.

Now it is very clear how the sentence patterns and the use of verbs in the English language. It's easy and does not need to be difficult-difficult to memorize and study seriously.
